MinEnergy & MinInfrastructure: Communication Training Focus

This trainings is a great opportunity for our employees to update their knowledge, gain new experience, undergo a quick and effective learning. After all, progress in the implementation of the Association Agreement is of great importance but it is also very important to communicate effectively everything that is happening in this crucial sphere. We are grateful to the EU Association4U Project for the opportunity for our employees to improve their qualification” — said Natalia Boiko, Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine on European Integration, opening  communication training on July 6/2017.

During two intensive trainings on July 6 - for the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry  and on July 7 - for the Ministry of Infrastructure, representatives of press services and communication departments of the Ministries' subagencies got a chance and to acquire and practiced the following skills:

  • development of key messages based on profile Ministries' EU Directives in the framework of the EU-Ukraine AA
  • search and processing of information and developing infographics
  • how to write press-releases and work with media
  • hints on effective communication in social media
  • how to write a good speech and personalize your writing
  • web-sites promotion

“The training provided an opportunity to look at our daily work in a new way, as if to rise above the communication process and at the same time to consider it from different points of view, to make a certain rethinking of the work you have done so far. It is very important. This opens up new opportunities for building up a more effective communication with the society” - shared with us her impression from the training for MinInfrastructure the Head of the department of external communications of the “Administration of Seaports of Ukraine” Julia Julius.

Remarkable that such trainings are held by experienced international STEs, this time it's our Estonian Expert Ehtel Halliste, with Communication Fellows as Co-Trainers: SCF Dmytro Laskavyi on speech writing, SCF Ivan Gayvanovych on work with media, ACF Oksana Shamonova on work with media and skillful Juniors Nadiya Kovalevych & Oleksandr Ustymenko on developing infographics.
