Training: Negotiations – Principle-Based Public Policy Consultations

What is your negotiations style and what is the best way to use it?

What to do if the negotiations fail and why is it important to know it even before you start negotiating?

How to invent options for mutual gain and why you should not feed the wolves?

We were looking to answers to these and other questions at the Negotiations training delivered on 17-18 September by the Association 4U Training Team.

With the expert assistance of highly-qualified trainer Frank Little civil servants of line Ministries and Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine and Junior Fellows of the Association4U project practiced lobbying and mandate negotiations, analyzed parties involved in a conflict and their underlying interests and mastered their skills through practical exercises and role games.

The training introduced civil servants and A4U fellows to non-power-play approaches to negotiations and helped them to improve their ability to negotiate ethically and effectively in any situation.
